Finally, I have set up codes that will prevent wannabe image thieves. Now, we can safely feature the works of our readers, beginning with this beautiful Macrame Necklace that our friend, Jeanne Wertman, sent in. She also graciously sent instructions on how to make the beautiful leaf patterns.

Left: Beautiful macrame necklace using the leaf pattern.Center: Macrame necklace leaf pattern up close.Right: Another beautiful macrame necklace from Jeanne Wertman. It uses the same leaf pattern.
You might be wondering how the macrame leaf pattern was made and here are the instructions that Jeanne sent in. It does require a bit of skill to do, but the beautiful result is worth the time and effort that goes into this piece.

The leaf pattern instructions, to me, were a bit vague. Would of liked a little more detail, but she does create some awesome pieces.
Thank you so much for posting Jeanne’s work and instructions on how to make the leaf.
Have done a few leaves this morning for the very first time, another mystery solved!
Does Jeanne have any macrame books published? If so, I would love to buy a copy or two. 🙂 Her work is truly inspirational.
I would like to find out more about the artist so that I could inform my students about her and her work. Would it be possible for you to contact Jeanne and have her contact me.
Thank you,

Thisis gorgeous, I would love to more from this macrame artist
Does Jeanne ever offer classes?
wow, Jeanne’s work is really stunning! I wonder how long it takes to create such a piece?
One piece will probably take a few months to finish. The knots for the leaves were a bit more complicated.
found your site on del.icio.us today and really liked it.. i bookmarked it and will be back to check it out some more later
Thank you, CNA Training! ^_^
This is very special macrame. Uh huh! I’d love to be capable of working pattern. Maybe someday I’ll try it. Thanks for sharing!

Yes, I agree! This is very special macrame! Jeanne is very skilled. I’m very happy she has given me permission to post more of her photos here at the blog. She has a macrame gallery at PictureTrail. The link can be found in the article.
